Laminating Machines
 These are highly versatile and
inexpensive machines which many offices find indispensable. Among the many
common uses are business cards and ID cards, rebate coupons, document covers,
outdoor signs, construction plans and specifications which tend to get soiled
or exposed to the weather. Two throat sizes are available: small, usually
4” and large, usually 13”. We recommend that, for the small
difference in price, our customers should choose the larger throat. Because
these machines are so versatile new uses for them are always coming up and it
is unreasonable to limit one’s possibilities by choosing a small throat.
We also carry three different quality levels. The choice of which one will
depend on what the machine will be used for. The lowest level is adequate for
most simple work. These machines are designed for occasional use with
lightweight plastics. Heavy-duty machines, the middle level, are capable of
continuous service and can handle thicker plastics. Finally, the top level or
photographers machine is designed for better quality laminating consistency. It
has extra heating rollers and a more even heat distribution. This doesn’t
make much difference for most services like business cards or outdoor signs,
but if the subject is a color photo or photocopy of say someone’s face,
the slight distortion in the adhesive could seriously change the picture. For
such service, customers should consider purchasing the top of the line machine.

4" width capacity, 4 silicon rollers, temperature control, one year

are required. Heavy duty construction means that this machine can be left on
standby or work for hours at a time. This machine is suitable for handling
thicker (14mil and 20mil) pouches which may not seal properly on other

R74 Heavy Duty Laminator 9 in. Throat Size
R74 These machines are quite similar to the R64 with a larger width capacity.
The extra width allows laminating of standard size 8 1/2" x 11"
paper. Customers find this machine useful to laminate catalogue sheets,
reference data sheets or other materials subject to heavy wear from usage, or
where the extra image of laminated materials brings a marketing advantage. The
greater width also allows for several smaller documents to be laminated at the
same time.
